Joy of Memorable Creations was born from a promise -a promise Founder and CEO Charlestine made to her beloved sister LaShone “Quickey” Joyner, who courageously fought pancreatic cancer. In her honor, Charlestine vowed to be her sister’s voice, carrying forward her legacy by spreading awareness about the power of early detection, hope and community support.

LaShone “Quickey” Joyner’s ligh continues to shine brightly – in the hearts of her family, her friends, and every life she touched. Though gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts. Her love lives on in every memory, every smile, and every creation inspired by her.
Our Vision
Joy of Memorable Creations (JOMC) inspires hope and strengthens communities through impactful outreach — raising awareness, promoting wellness, and providing vital support in areas including domestic violence, suicide prevention, cancer, health, financial literacy, and seasonal giving.
Charlestine M. Joyner Hudson
(Affectionately known as “Char”)
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Charlestine M. Joyner Hudson is widely known for her love, dedication, loyalty, and compassion — qualities that define her life’s mission of helping others, especially those facing hardship or loss.
Char deeply understands that life’s challenges can lead people into unforeseen circumstances, and her empathy for those in need fuels her unwavering commitment to serve. A proud mother of two remarkable adult children, Monae’ and Mark Jr., and an adoring grandmother to four precious grandchildren — Malachi, Olivia, Melody, Monica and Ezekiel (M.O.M.M.E’) — family remains the heartbeat of her world.

Char’s passion for storytelling and ministry extends far beyond community work. She is a Published Author of three empowering books and the Writer and Director of her original stage play, “KAPTURED Promises” — a powerful spin-off of her book “The Pain, Problems, and then the Promises of GOD.”
Her creative talents also shine through as the Host of the motivational radio talk show, “Saturday Social with Yo Girl Char,” where she uplifts, educates, and inspires her listeners each week.
Entrepreneurial Spirit
Char studied Criminal Justice at Kennedy King College and then later at Illinois Institute of Technology. Her life experiences and lessons has given her a deep commitment and desire to help other hurting children, young adults, women and even men. You can always find her smiling, hugging, or helping someone with launching their business, event planning, hosting events, writing or spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
Continuing her journey of empowerment and creativity, Char recently launched her own luxury fragrance line — Monique Luxury Scents — featuring two signature perfumes: “HAPPY” and “HARMONY.” These fragrances were designed to embody the essence of joy, peace, and balance — the same spirit that defines her work and her faith.
Heart of Service
Char studied Criminal Justice at Kennedy-King College and later attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. Her academic background, combined with her personal experiences, ignited a passion to help children, young adults, women, and men heal from pain and discover purpose.
Through every role she fulfills — as a leader, creator, and humanitarian — Char remains grounded in her most important identity: a devoted woman of God. Her faith is the foundation of everything she does, guiding her to inspire hope, empower others, and serve with love, humility, and unwavering compassion.
